The goal of this project is to dispel myths that thwart sustainability and thereby provide Nordic policy-makers with accessible knowledge on consumption and consumer behaviour that can be used in devising effective and efficient consumer policies.

ReplyDeleteI especially liked the example of the Prussian marketing strategy of incentivising the farming and consumption of potatoes amongst peasants, by declaring it a 'royal' vegetable.
How could we declare a more sustainable lifestyle 'royal' in our days and who would be the 'royals' to promote and model such a lifestyle?
